Location: Sherman, TX
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $55,000.00 ~ 68,000.00 annual salary

For this current project, the start date will be around June 15/June 22, and there will be no relocation assistance provided at this time.

About Us (INRE INC): INRE INC plays a crucial role in the semiconductor industry, focusing on the implementation of Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS). These advanced systems are vital to semiconductor manufacturing, automating the precise movement of wafers and cassettes throughout the Fabrication Facilities (FAB) to reduce manual handling and improve efficiency. INRE INC specializes in installing these automated track systems, which is essential for high-performance production in modern technology manufacturing.

Job Description:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining customer’s products and equipment. This role involves ensuring the proper operation of Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) at client facilities. Key duties include identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime, troubleshooting errors, repairing equipment, and implementing Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) modifications and upgrades. Field Service Engineers operate under the direction of an on-site crew lead.

The ideal candidate should be well-versed in industry concepts, practices, and procedures. They should leverage their experience and judgment to accomplish objectives while also guiding and supervising others. Creativity and independent decision-making are essential for success in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Maintenance:

Set up and install new machines in customer facilities, including performing electrical and mechanical check-outs, programming, tooling, and operational demonstrations.
Accurately and promptly complete installation and demonstration reports.
Conduct daily preventive maintenance on AMHS equipment following factory and customer guidelines.
Carry out routine maintenance tasks and offer fundamental assistance to customers as required.
Gain proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance through cross-training.
Maintain detailed service logs and ensure proper documentation in the database.
Install software with minimal supervision while following established installation procedures and release notes.

2. Problem Identification and Troubleshooting:

Monitor equipment performance, listen for irregularities, conduct test cycles, and use precision measuring tools to diagnose issues.
Address errors promptly, determine root causes, and escalate downtime issues through the appropriate channels.
Utilize company resources to access software revisions and supporting documentation.
Assess software functionality and analyze data logs for troubleshooting purposes.
Effectively diagnose and resolve both hardware and software malfunctions.

3. Inventory Management:

Provide recommendations and assistance in selecting and ordering tools and repair parts.
Ensure accurate tracking and management of consignment inventory.
Follow established stock handling procedures and report any discrepancies to the supervisor or logistics team.
Prepare and submit required technical documentation and reports.

4. Training:

Obtain factory training and achieve certification on multiple products.
Maintain required certification level or higher on all site equipment and systems.
Continuously update skills as new equipment, policies, and procedures are introduced.

5. Project Support:

Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical recommendations and solutions.
Act as a liaison between customers and company engineering to support daily site operations.
Work independently with minimal supervision when necessary.
Align tasks with local site objectives and business goals.
Prepare and submit necessary documentation for process verification and investigative purposes.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability that is required.

Education and Experience:

Associate degree in a related field or other engineering discipline required; Technical certification or equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years related work experience is desired
1-2 years of technical field service experience in the semiconductor industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills:

Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic instruments and shop/hand tools.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to diagnose and repair electromechanical systems.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills to interreact effectively with customers and peers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex issues.
Proficiency in PC skills (MS Office, Excel, Windows, PowerPoint Presentation).
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must wear a uniform while working in a cleanroom environment at customer sites.
Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Travel: There is an ability to travel up to 50% of the time where projects will run anywhere between 1-8 months (may include overseas sites). A valid driver's license and good driving record is required. Must have or be eligible to obtain a passport for international travel.

Schedule: For this shift, this is a rotating shift schedule divided into 3 crew: Crew A, B and C.

Crew A and B: Rotating 12-hour shifts
Crew C: Standard 40-hour work schedule
All crews are subject to weekend work, rotate on a 4-week cycle, and average hours are approximately 42 hours a week

Supplemental Pay Types:

Bonus opportunities (dependent on project)
