Full Job Description

OVERVIEW OF POSITION: This position has a senior leadership role and reports to the Executive Director. This exempt, full-time position will work closely with the Program Manager to provide day-to-day oversight and management of Dads Back! Academy operations, supervise staff, ensure fidelity to program services, accurate program documentation is maintained, and that grant outcomes are realized or exceeded. Program services will be conducted in person at the FOLA program office in Inglewood and virtually. The successful candidate has substantial experience with program management especially family service programs, sound judgment, strong data-analysis skills, excellent communication skills, human resources experience, and solid team development and leadership capabilities. This self-starter brings energy and passion to the program.

Pay Rate: $90,000 - $95,000 per annum, based on background, education, and experience. Employee benefits package will include paid time off (PTO) and a partly subsidized healthcare plan of the staff’s choice of plans presented during Open Enrollment.

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:

Program Oversight

Work closely with the Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure grant goals are reached or exceeded, fidelity to the program, and contract compliance.
Assist with development and improvement of program procedures and policies.
Assist with staff recruiting and on-boarding.
Provide staff supervision (Case Managers, Family Engagement Cooridinator/Workshop Facilitator, & Peer Workshop Facilitator & Outreach)
Conduct case conferences, case file review, and approve case plans.
Oversee performance by program partners, ensuring program fidelity.
Assess staff development needs. Develop and implement a training plan that includes internal and external trainers.
Review and approve time sheets and requests for time off.
Oversee budget expenditures.
Serve as the primary liaison with program funder. Attend funder-sponsored meetings and trainings, including grant-required travel.
Assist with expansion of strategic program partnerships in support of program goals through creation of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).
Other duties as assigned.

Data Collection/Reporting, Reports, Evaluation

Convene the Continuous Quality Improvement Implementation Team.
In partnership with the Data Manager, ensure that data collection/data entry is being implemented accurately and in a timely manner.
Analyze program data.
Liaise with Program Evaluator as needed, including for the annual “Data Dive.”
Prepare and submit all reports to the funder as required by or before reporting deadlines.
Assist with program and single audits.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must meet all required qualifications in order to be considered for the position

Passionate about the Mission of Friends Outside in Los Angeles County.
Master’s in Social Work or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing family programs, including data collection and analysis, and preparation of reports.
3 years’ experience with staff supervision.
Leader who respects and makes decisions with input from staff and participants.
Demonstrated knowledge of program design, implementation, and budgets.
Experience with reentry programming a plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
