Director of Recruiting and Admissions: Pending Budget Approval
Role: The Director of Admissions and Recruiting provides leadership and operational oversight for all admissions and recruitment functions of the College. This position is responsible for developing, executing, and assessing strategic recruitment initiatives that increase new student enrollment and strengthen the College’s presence across service areas. The Director oversees the admissions process from prospect through admittance, ensures efficient and compliant processing of student applications and documentation, and leads data-informed outreach strategies that expand the enrollment pipeline. The Director oversees front-end enrollment growth through admissions operations, recruiting strategy, community partnerships, and enrollment funnel performance.
The salary range for this position is $83,593.73 to $125,390.59 per annually based on years of experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- 20% – Admissions Operations Oversight: Provides strategic leadership and oversight of admissions operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant application processing. Establishes service standards to improve efficiency and the applicant experience, while maintaining regulatory compliance. Leads continuous improvement of admissions workflows and procedures for consistency and scalability. Develops and aligns recruitment materials and messaging to support targeted outreach and institutional brand standards.
- 20% – Recruitment Strategy & Outreach Execution: Leads the development and execution of a data-informed recruitment strategy to increase applications and enrollment. Manages territory-based recruitment models to optimize outreach across key student populations and partners. Provides oversight for on- and off-campus recruitment initiatives and events. Oversees planning and continuous improvement of Promise programs to strengthen the enrollment pipeline and support institutional goals.
- 15% – Enrollment Funnel Management and Reporting: Uses admissions and recruitment data to evaluate trends, inform enrollment strategies, and establish goals. Develops reports to track the prospect-to-enrollment funnel and key metrics. Identifies inefficiencies and implements data-driven improvements to streamline processes and increase conversion rates.
- 10% – Staff Leadership & Performance Management: Provides leadership for admissions and recruiting staff through effective hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, and performance evaluation processes. Establishes clear performance metrics aligned with application growth, territory management outcomes, and service delivery standards to drive accountability and results. Cultivates a high-performing, student-centered culture that emphasizes responsiveness, continuous improvement, and shared ownership of enrollment goals.
- 10% – Technology & CRM Management: Leads admissions and recruiting staff through hiring, training, and performance management. Sets clear metrics to drive accountability and results. Fosters a high-performing, student-centered culture focused on responsiveness and continuous improvement.
- 10% Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Builds and maintains partnerships with schools, community organizations, and workforce partners to strengthen the student pipeline. Collaborates across departments to align outreach, recruitment, and enrollment strategies for a cohesive, data-informed approach to student access.
- 5% – Serves as the Designated School Official (DSO) as required by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP).: Oversees the departmental processes and procedures for intake and processing of international students.
- 5% – Budget & Administrative Oversight Manages the admissions and recruiting budgets to ensure alignment with institutional priorities. Allocates resources to support high-impact initiatives and maximize ROI. Monitors and adjusts spending to improve efficiency and support enrollment growth.
- 5% – Other Duties Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Five to ten years of progressively responsible experience in admissions, recruiting, or related higher education enrollment functions. Supervisory experience required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Ability to influence, present, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences including students, parents, counselors, and community partners.
- Other Skills: Data analysis and enrollment funnel management Project management and strategic planning CRM and admissions system oversight Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to execute recruitment initiatives from concept to completion
- Physical Requirements: Primarily sedentary work with periodic travel to high schools, community events, and outreach locations. Ability to lift light materials and drive to off-campus recruitment events.
- Work Environment: Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office.
