Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join the Central Dauphin School District as a Secretary II in our Print Shop. This full-time position plays a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of the district by managing the copy and print services. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to staff and students.

Responsibilities

Operate high-volume copiers and printers to produce various materials, including but not limited to worksheets, newsletters, and promotional materials. Operate production cutter, jogger, shredder, and 3 hole punch drill.
Use EFI MarketDirect StoreFront software to process online job tickets and send notifications when requests have been completed.
Maintain inventory of paper, ink, and other supplies necessary for the copy shop operations.
Assist staff in preparing and formatting documents for printing, ensuring all materials meet quality standards.
Manage the scheduling of printing requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working order and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with other administrative staff to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the copy shop.
Provide exceptional customer service to staff and faculty, addressing any inquiries or concerns related to copy services.
Perform clerical duties as needed, including filing, data entry, and maintaining records of print jobs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience within a copy/print shop preferred.
Proficiency in operating copiers, printers, and other office equipment, with a strong understanding of printing processes.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with staff and students.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude and a willingness to assist others.

Hours:

8:00 am - 4:00 pm
