Full Job Description

This is an active office position. The right person should be comfortable answering phones, assisting visitors, communicating with field and office personnel, maintaining records, and helping keep the day-to-day office running smoothly. The goal of this position is to help keep communication moving throughout Earnest Contracting while providing employees, applicants, customers, vendors, and visitors with a professional and helpful first point of contact.

FRONT DESK & COMMUNICATION

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Pay:$16.00 per hour
The person in this position does not need to know every answer. They should, however, be able to listen carefully, gather the right information, and get the question or concern to the correct person.
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, monitor general office voicemail, and take clear, accurate messages to ensure they are routed to the appropriate person.
Maintain a professional and welcoming front-office environment.
Assist with scanning, copying, filing, and organizing company documents; utilize Microsoft Office programs for routine administrative tasks; and provide support with basic AR duties as needed.
Prepare basic letters, forms, spreadsheets, and other office documents.
Help schedule meetings, appointments, interviews, or other office activities when requested.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Dependable and punctual.
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask, prioritize messages and tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and clearly with employees, customers, and callers both in person and over the phone.
Able to handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately.
Willing to take initiative and help where needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior AR Experience Required
Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, or office experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, documents, and web-based business systems.
Good organizational and recordkeeping skills.
Ability to learn company procedures and internal systems.
Construction, trucking, engineering, surveying, or similar industry experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
