Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club is seeking a motivated and experienced Teaching Professional to join our team. This position will focus primarily on on-court instruction while assisting with the growth and development of new and existing tennis programs
The Teaching Professional will work closely with the Director of Tennis and professional staff to continue building one of the region’s premier racquets programs. The position offers significant teaching opportunities, competitive benefits, and a total compensation package with the potential to exceed $100,000 in the first year, with additional earning potential as programs and clientele grow.

The successful candidate should expect approximately 30–40 hours of on-court teaching per week, including approximately six hours of junior programming.

Pierremont Oaks has a highly active racquets community, with 625 active members and more than 150 juniors participating in year-round programming.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide high-quality tennis and pickleball instruction to players of all ages and ability levels
- Develop and grow private lessons, clinics, junior programming, and other racquets initiatives
- Assist with club events, mixers, tournaments, and special programming
- Promote club programs and encourage member participation
- Deliver an exceptional private-club experience to members, families, and guests
- Assist with Pro Shop operations, including court reservations and merchandise sales
- Perform limited court maintenance, including grooming and lining clay courts and blowing hard courts
- Travel on a limited basis to selected junior tournaments
- Maintain professional appearance and appropriate teaching attire
- Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
- Follow all club policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
Qualifications
- USTA/NTRP playing level of 4.0 or higher
- Minimum of three years of related experience as a tennis professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to teach players of all ages and ability levels
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to member service
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering first-class service and programming
- USPTA/RSPA or PTR certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification within the first year

The position requires the ability to:
- Stand and remain physically active for extended periods

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
