Full Job Description

$300 Sign On Bonus!

$150 after the first 3 months and the remaining $150 after the 6 month mark of employment.

Duties of DSP's are as follows; will work with assigned individuals according to schedule, ensure the individual is cared for in a supportive and caring environment, free of abuse and/or neglect, provide opportunities for DMH individuals to indicate preferences-promote and encourage independence, maintain a safe, healthy, and clean environment. Monitor individual’s physical and emotional health and ensure these needs are met, report all medical concerns to Lead Staff, DPM, or Nurse. Administer medications as needed to DMH individuals, after proper training in Level 1 Medication Administration. Assist in bathing, toileting, and grooming as needed. Ensure individuals confidentiality and privacy is maintained in the home and community. Direct Support Professionals will be expected to treat individuals with dignity and respect, as you expect to be treated.

Services are provided in the Poplar Bluff, Dexter and Kennett areas.

Requirements for employment are:

Be available for every shift
At least 18 years of age
Have an operational vehicle
At least liability insurance
Valid Driver's License
Pass a background screening

Full-Time employees will receive Holiday Pay upon hire and receive 40 hours of Personal Time after their first 90 days.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Caregivers, and Personal Care Aides (PCA) may apply but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
