POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership, coordination, and support of Delcath’s global technology environment. This role oversees core IT operations including infrastructure oversight, ERP operational administration, reporting coordination, vendor and MSP management, operational escalations, end-user service delivery, and business systems support across a regulated and compliance-sensitive environment.
The position works closely with IT leadership, Finance, Quality, Operations, Commercial, Regulatory, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure stable, secure, scalable, and business-aligned technology operations that support Delcath’s operational, regulatory, and strategic objectives.
This role will play a key part in supporting Delcath’s continued growth, operational scalability, ERP modernization efforts, reporting initiatives, operational process improvement, and future technology enablement initiatives including automation and AI-supported business operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
IT Operations Leadership

Lead and coordinate day-to-day IT operational activities across the organization

Maintain operational oversight of infrastructure platforms, cloud services, endpoint environments, business applications, collaboration platforms, and vendor-supported systems

Support operational stability, business continuity, responsiveness, and organizational scalability across global IT operations

Identify operational improvement opportunities and support modernization initiatives aligned with business objectives

Serve as the primary operational liaison for managed service providers and external IT vendors

Coordinate operational support activities, escalations, service alignment, and issue resolution with external partners

Monitor vendor performance, operational effectiveness, and service responsiveness

Support IT operations within regulated and compliance-sensitive business environments

Collaborate with IT Governance, Quality, Finance, and business stakeholders to support operational alignment with SOX, 21 CFR Part 11, GMP/GxP, and related compliance requirements

Support operational activities involving validated systems, controlled business applications, and compliance-aware infrastructure environments

Support operational technology modernization initiatives including automation, reporting optimization, AI-enabled business tools, and operational process improvement efforts

Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to support scalable technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and business enablement

Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, cybersecurity considerations, and evolving business technology needs
This position may require occasional after-hours support, operational escalation response, maintenance activities, project coordination efforts, or emergency operational support as business needs require.
Manages employees and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred

5+ years of progressive IT operations, infrastructure, ERP, or technical leadership experience

Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, or similar ERP platforms preferred
-
Experience supporting reporting platforms such as Power BI preferred

Experience supporting regulated environments including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or medical device industries preferred

Familiarity with SOX controls, 21 CFR Part 11, GMP/GxP environments, validated systems, and compliance-aware operational processes preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical journals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with employees and outside organization
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and create and/or interpret spreadsheets and graphs.
