Full Job Description

CBA Position:

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:

$22.00 - $38.91 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale)
Starting pay $22.00 with progression to $38.91 over 7 years.

Benefits include:

Vacation: 5 days per year with progression to 20 days per year
Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours yearly full-time employees; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily schedules to balance productivity, efficiency, and customer service standards.
Review trip schedules for inefficiencies or policy violations and make adjustments to resolve these issues.
Schedule transfer trips, subscription trips, and unscheduled trip requests to appropriate runs or non-dedicated providers.
Oversee the nightly manifesting and reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Verify data for completed manifests to support monthly reporting requirements.
Provide support to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) on trip scheduling and related inquiries.
Collaborate with OCC staff to address scheduling challenges and improve service delivery.
Contact customers during the scheduling process, when appropriate, to negotiate pickup windows to optimize service efficiency.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support overall scheduling operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.
2 years reservationist or customer service experience.
Computer literate
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

Work is accomplished indoors in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities
Sit, type, and look at a computer for extended periods (up to 6–9 hours per day)
Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in written correspondence
Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer
Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
