Full Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leadership opportunity is available for a Senior Manager to oversee inpatient pharmacy operations at a major healthcare facility in Seattle, WA. This permanent position offers the chance to drive excellence in pharmacy services, ensuring optimal medication management and patient safety within a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily operations of the inpatient pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve pharmacy services, workflow efficiency, and patient care.
Supervise pharmacy staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clinical pharmacy programs and optimize medication use.
Monitor budgetary performance and resource allocation within the pharmacy department.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance and safety protocols within all pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in pharmacy management, particularly in an inpatient or hospital setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills with an ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations and implement process improvements.
Licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of Washington is required.
