Full Job Description

About the role

Elevated Community Health is a federally qualified health center serving Colorado's mountain communities. The organization has a growing waitlist of Spanish speaking neighbors who need behavioral health care in their own language and in person, and is looking for one bilingual therapist to serve them directly.

This is a mission driven role for a clinician who wants to reach people who would not be helped anywhere else. Candidates who are passionate about serving the Latino and Hispanic community and want the stability of an FQHC behind them are encouraged to apply.

And yes, the right person gets to do this work surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Summit County sits in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, with world class hiking, skiing, fishing, and mountain views right outside the door. It is a genuinely gorgeous place to live and work.

What you'll do

Serve as the primary behavioral health provider for a caseload that is essentially 100% Spanish speaking clients
Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual therapy, brief interventions, and case management in Spanish, without an interpreter
Work primarily with adults (late teens and up); higher acuity or pediatric cases are referred out
Conduct risk assessments and coordinate care with primary care, community partners, and clinical supervisors
Document in the EHR (OCHIN Epic)

What you need

Active, independent Colorado license required to start: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (PhD or PsyD also welcome)
Provisionally licensed candidates encouraged to apply. ECH provides the supervision you need
Fluency in Spanish. Candidates must pass a Spanish language proficiency assessment before hire
Compliance with ECH's flu vaccine requirement
Empathetic, trauma informed, and a strong team fit

Nice to have

Native or heritage Spanish speaker
Lives in or familiar with the Summit County mountain community
Experience with OCHIN, Epic, or another EHR
Deep cultural understanding of the local Hispanic community
