Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and coachable Appointment Setter to join our sales team. In this role, you will engage with prospective clients, qualify leads, and schedule appointments for our sales closers. This position is designed for individuals who want to build a career in sales, with ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities to advance into a High-Ticket Sales Closer role based on performance. Strong communication skills, resilience, and a willingness to learn are essential. Successful candidates will receive coaching in consultative selling, objection handling, and closing techniques while earning competitive compensation through base pay, commissions, or performance bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Contact prospective clients by phone, text, email, or other approved communication channels.
- Qualify leads using company guidelines to determine interest and fit.
- Schedule appointments for the sales team and maintain an organized calendar.
- Build rapport and create a positive first impression with potential clients.
- Accurately update customer information and activity in the CRM.
- Follow up with leads to confirm appointments and reduce no-shows.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and appointment-setting goals.
- Handle basic objections professionally and keep prospects engaged.
- Collaborate with sales closers to ensure smooth handoffs and share relevant prospect information.
- Participate in sales training, coaching sessions, and role-playing exercises.
- Learn consultative selling and closing techniques to prepare for advancement into a Sales Closer role.
- Maintain a professional attitude while representing the company's brand and values
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred but not required).
- Previous experience in appointment setting, customer service, call center, or sales is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling objections professionally.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience using CRM software (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Coachable, adaptable, and eager to develop advanced sales skills.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote positions.
- Desire to grow into a High-Ticket Sales Closer or full-cycle sales role.
