Full Job Description

Professional Collision Estimator

D&D Motors Collision Center – Greer, SC
Full-Time | Monday–Friday

D&D Motors is seeking an experienced, professional Collision Estimator to join our Collision Center team. We are looking for someone who understands the collision repair process from beginning to end and can effectively manage estimates, insurance relationships, customers, and repair documentation in a high-volume environment.

This is not an entry-level estimating position. The ideal candidate is organized, confident, detail-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of a repair from the initial estimate through supplements and final documentation.

Responsibilities

Write accurate and complete collision repair estimates using CCC ONE
Perform thorough vehicle damage assessments and identify all related collision damage
Prepare and process supplements as additional damage is identified
Communicate professionally and effectively with insurance adjusters, customers, technicians, and parts personnel
Review insurance estimates and negotiate necessary repair procedures, labor operations, parts, and materials
Maintain accurate documentation, photos, repair notes, and supporting information throughout the repair process
Work closely with technicians and production staff to ensure estimates accurately reflect the repairs required
Keep customers informed regarding the estimating and repair process
Help maintain an efficient workflow in a high-volume collision environment
Ensure repair plans reflect proper OEM repair procedures and safe, quality repairs
Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple active repair files

Qualifications

Collision estimating experience required
Proficiency with CCC ONE required
Mitchell estimating experience is a plus
Strong understanding of collision repair procedures, parts, labor operations, and estimating practices
Experience working directly with insurance companies and adjusters
Ability to handle a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy
Strong organizational and computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional customer-service skills
Ability to work effectively with technicians, management, insurance representatives, and customers
Automotive collision/body shop experience strongly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
