Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care through expert medication management and clinical services. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will utilize your extensive knowledge of pharmacology, medical terminology, and patient assessment to ensure safe, effective, and personalized medication therapies. Duties

Dispense prescribed medications accurately while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapies, including pediatrics and acute care populations.
Manage inventory levels efficiently, including compounding medications and handling IV infusions using aseptic techniques.
Utilize pharmacy software, systems to document medication orders, patient data, and treatment plans precisely.
Provide clinical pharmacy services such as medication reconciliation, pain management consultations, and medical management support for complex cases.
Administer immunizations and perform medication administration procedures following strict HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy.
Collaborate with healthcare teams on patient care plans, including IV insertion, infusion therapy, and medication therapy optimization across various departments like critical care and pediatrics.
Support inventory management processes by monitoring stock levels, ordering medications as needed, and maintaining accurate records for audit purposes.
Educate patients on medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies to promote optimal health outcomes.

Experience

Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience with a focus on patient service and assessment across diverse populations including pediatrics and acute care.
Completion of a pharmacy residency program or equivalent clinical training enhances candidacy.
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for efficient workflow management.
Hands-on experience with compounding medications using aseptic technique is required for safe preparation of IV medications.
Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration protocols is fundamental to providing high-quality patient care.
