Job Description:
In this role, you will utilize your expertise in automotive sales, financial services, credit analysis, and customer relationship management to guide clients through loan options, negotiate terms, and secure financing approvals. Your ability to upsell additional products and services will contribute significantly to our dealership’s success.

Pay Range:
$100,000 per year and above (commission/bonus pay plan based on job performance).
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the loan approval process by analyzing credit reports and financial information using financial software and dealership guidelines.
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing transparent information on financing options, contracts, and title processing procedures.
- Negotiate loan terms with lenders and customers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to dealership policies and legal requirements.
- Upsell additional products such as extended warranties, insurance packages, and other financial services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
- Process all loan documentation accurately, including contracts, credit analysis reports, and disclosures, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand vehicle sales details and assist in closing deals efficiently through effective finance solutions.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of credit analysis techniques, dealership finance procedures, and relevant state and federal laws governing auto financing.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree or commensurate finance experience. Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures preferred. Knowledge of regulations and laws governing financing in the automotive industry. Ability to work with lenders and financial institutions. Prior automotive sales experience required.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Automobile Salesperson License.
- AFIP Certification.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Advanced ability to operate Finance and Insurance portion of Dealer Management System.
Communication Skills:
Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company
personnel. Strong interpersonal and persuasive selling skills.
Attendance Expectations:
The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit. Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds.
Environment Demands:
Duties are performed primarily in finance and insurance and sales areas. Considerable time spent on the phone and at a computer. Work involves frequent customer contact and interaction with lending institutions.
Verbal and Writing Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Reasoning Ability:
Knowledge of bank and insurance terminology and procedures. Ability to review and process sales contracts and finance documents.
