About the role: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of hourly team members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This role provides daily guidance, manages workflow and schedules, oversees inbound and outbound activities, ensures proper inventory control, coordinates resources, and supports employee development within their assigned area.

What you’ll do:
· Drive Safety and Compliance Excellence.
· Champion Diamond Vogel’s purpose and values and inspire others to uphold company values.
· Hold employees accountable by addressing performance, attendance, and behavior concerns promptly, including documenting and issuing corrective actions when necessary.
· Coordinate daily work assignments to meet production, quality, and schedule requirements.
· Provide hands-on, on-the-floor leadership—coaching, training, and supporting employees in their day-to-day tasks.
· Monitor workflow, identify issues or bottlenecks, and make adjustments to maintain steady and efficient operations.
· Assist with process improvements and contribute suggestions to enhance safety, quality, or productivity.
· Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and other departments to maintain smooth operations.
· Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and system entries related to production, safety, and performance.
· Oversee inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
· Ensure proper inventory control, including cycle counts, stock accuracy, and damage prevention.
· Enforce safe material handling practices and proper use of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
· Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal teams to meet delivery and production deadlines.
· All other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience you’ll need:
· Associate degree (AA)required in Manufacturing, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
· 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or distribution.
· Prior team lead experience preferred.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to provide clear direction and feedback.
· Ability to coach and support employees while maintaining consistent accountability.
· Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions during daily operations.
· Demonstrated ability to effectively use computer systems and software as part of daily work.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and demands.
· Experience with warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
· Familiarity with warehouse equipment and material handling safety (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, etc.).
· Knowledge of inventory management practices and basic logistics principles.
