The Treehouse Group is seeking to employ the next cohort of life changers! Our team members are part-time and full-time Behavior Assistants (otherwise known as Behavior Interventionists or Registered Behavior Technicians) to provide behavioral support with children 1 to 18 years of age. Services are delivered in the clinic (primary) with some sessions delivered in the home, preschools and community settings. Please note our current hiring requires you are or have been a RBT and you must have been registered at this level (even if currently inactive).
Who We Are:
The Treehouse Group is dedicated to working with children with autism and their families to meet a family where they are and assist in their child in making meaningful progress. We provide therapy services based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and our services are neuro-affirming and delivered by a high trained, compassionate and empathetic team. We work with children in our center (The Nest in Sioux Falls) or in the home, daycare/preschool, and community and for some children, via telehealth.
Details of the position:
The position of the interventionist entails delivering 1:1 behavioral instruction to the children in our program after a thorough assessment and development of a family and child centered treatment plan.
Applicants for this position are individuals who seek to make a difference and have the professional skills to commit to learning a science, towards the betterment of children but also on a career path to making a difference. Our hours are between 8 am and 6 pm, daily yet our team aims to maximize your time, minimize your drive time and down time, and to provide you with a consistent schedule you can count on. We have been scheduling intervention hours for 100s of kids for 20+ years and we have learned that the RBT role needs considerable support and thoughtful timing to minimize the some of the more difficult side effects, such as cancellations.
Prior to working with any learners, all interventionists are provided with extensive training on the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in order to teach behavior interventionists how to increase skills while decreasing problem behaviors that interfere with learning.
After training, all behavior interventionists who meet performance criteria can sit for the RBT exam (with reimbursement for 1 test fee). If the exam is passed within 90 days of employment, employees will be eligible for a promotion and increased compensation.

Duties
- Assist the team in Implementing evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavior change.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress, under the supervision of our BCBA
Qualifications
- Current credential of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willing to commit to training- Preference will be given to those with the credential at this time.
- HS diploma
- Pass all background checks
- Driver's license and reliable car
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
