Full Job Description

Divinity Wellness Center is a rapidly growing Christian-based integrative wellness clinic dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health through natural, functional, regenerative, and integrative medicine. We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who is passionate about patient care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and desires to be part of a team that is making a meaningful impact in people's lives.

Position Overview

This position serves a dual role within our clinic. When our Medical Director is in clinic, the CMA will function as her primary clinical assistant, helping provide exceptional patient care and support. When the Medical Director is not in clinic, this team member will assist our administrative staff at the front desk, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients.

Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

Assist the Medical Director with patient care and procedures
Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and clinical documentation
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
Prepare, process, and package laboratory samples
Assist with ozone therapies and other integrative treatment protocols
Maintain treatment rooms, supplies, and equipment
Coordinate lab orders and patient follow-up communications
Support IV therapy, regenerative medicine, and other clinical services as directed
Maintain accurate and compliant patient records

Administrative Duties

Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling
Check patients in and out
Assist with patient communications and appointment coordination
Process paperwork and maintain patient files
Support front desk operations during busy clinic hours
Provide outstanding customer service and patient support

Qualifications

Required

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
Experience with phlebotomy and specimen handling
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong attention to detail

Preferred

Experience in functional, integrative, regenerative, chiropractic, or wellness-based healthcare settings
Familiarity with ozone therapy, IV therapy, and laboratory testing
Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
