Visions, LLC is committed to creating positive change through behavior consultation. With a team of dedicated professionals, we have provided professional behavior consultation services to a wide variety of clients and populations across the state of Oregon since 2015. Visions is originally based out of the Midwest in 2009. Our leadership team is devoted to keeping the health and wellbeing of the practitioners on our team front and center, including a focus on mental wellness.
Our Behavior Professionals support adults experiencing a wide range of disabilities including physical disabilities, Mental Health Disorders, and Neurocognitive Disabilities such as Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Stroke. Behavior Professionals support individuals who reside in a variety of settings including adult foster homes, assisted living facilities, memory care, and private residences with in-home caregivers. We partner with our clients and their team of care providers to provide training in the use of positive, person-centered and proactive approaches to help support individuals experiencing behavioral challenges. The Behavior Professional Position:
The Behavior Professional will enjoy flexibility in making their own schedule and working from home, while staying connected to a Statewide team that provides ongoing assistance, training and administrative support. We will accept applications for both full-time and part-time Behavior Professional position in Central Oregon; the ad reflects an FTE salary of $50-62k dependent on experience. Our part-time positions, are compensated at a billable hour rate ($40-48/hour) paired with a admin hour rate ($20/hour).
The Behavior Professional will be responsible for providing behavior consultation services that adhere to the Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs). Services include: completion of a functional assessment of the behavior of concern, behavior plan development, training and coaching, and ongoing support for clients. The nature of this position requires consistent communication with the team’s regional administrative director & director of operations. The Behavior Professional will be responsible for meeting deadlines, adhering to all state-mandated documentation requirements and developing quality reports and plans.
Essential Duties and Tasks:
- Calling clients, scheduling all client appointments and providing frequent updates to all case managers
- Conducting functional behavior assessments, to include client/family/provider interviews, observations, data collection and report writing
- Development of, and training on, positive, person-centered behavior support plans that meet the needs of the client
- Attending meetings as needed in order to collaborate with relevant providers/stakeholders for client’s services
- Conducting a combination of in-person, phone-based, and tele-health appointments with clients (depending on each case); driving to appointments is required. This position requires travel to a secondary region (Current needs outside of Bend/Redmond: Prineville)
- Completing all documentation and reporting as required
- Attending Visions monthly staff meetings as required
- Completing required continuing education units as required by the state of Oregon (12hrs per year)

- Able to stay organized while managing a variety of deadlines and meetings associated with caseload
- Able to effectively utilize time in order to meet caseload needs as well as maintaining the monthly billable requirement
- Comfortable adapting to a variety of settings and providers; able to find build connections and make services accessible in varying contexts
- Forming lasting working relationships with case managers, service providers, facility staff and families
- Able to demonstrate a professional, but humble demeanor
- Experienced in navigating challenging environments and staying calm in the midst of stressful situations
- Able to effectively coach and train staff/providers on behavior support plans
- Able to receive feedback; consistently demonstrates efforts to apply feedback to work
Required Experience/Education (If you do not possess a graduate or undergraduate degree in a qualifying field of study, please confirm that option (d) applies to you before applying for the position):
At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury or a form of dementia, in an educational or therapeutic setting, preferred.
STATE OF OREGON MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A person who is hired, promoted, or enrolled to deliver professional behavior services must meet at least one of the following requirements:
(a) Possess a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) graduate level certification in behavior analysis and one year of experience using positive behavior support services with individuals who experience intellectual or developmental disabilities.
(b) Possess a Master of Arts or Master of Science in psychology, sociology, human services, education, social work, or the equivalent AND one year of experience using positive behavior support services with individuals who experience intellectual or developmental disabilities.
(c) Possess a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, human services, education, social work, or the equivalent AND three years of experience using positive behavior support services with individuals who experience intellectual or developmental disabilities.
(d) A minimum of six years of experience performing professional behavior services using positive behavior support services prior to January 1, 2021.

Requirements:
