PURPOSE:
Build highly successful projects for our clients, partners, and communities.
Position Summary
Constructs, installs, erects and repairs fixtures and structures made from wood, steel and other materials. Performs concrete forming, wood or metal framing, drywall, and door and casework installation.
Essential Functions
Ensures safety is an everyday topic and supersedes all other factors to prevent accidents and create a safe working environment for everyone.
- Works with blueprints or instructions from supervisors
- Understands and adheres to safety and quality control requirements
- Works with materials such as wood, steel, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
- Utilizes chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair and erect structures
- Joins materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives
- Works off of stilts, ladders, scaffolding and lifts
- Uses fall protection devices and harnesses, as required
- Checks work along the way to ensure it's up to code and specifications
- Works at varying heights, often greater than 10’ above ground
- Uses levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure
- Works with prefabricated buildings
- Installs cabinets and trim
- Creates structures for pouring concrete
- Erects scaffolding
- Installs partitions, doors, and windows
- Moves and install machinery

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in construction work

- Ability to communicate orally and in writing, as well as understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
