Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a commitment to food safety and quality, as well as the ability to collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning and inventory management to maintain stock levels.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Manage kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring timely service and quality control.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
Participate in catering events and banquets as needed, providing exceptional service.
Monitor food production processes, adjusting as necessary for quality assurance.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in other culinary roles within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
Experience in fine dining or catering environments is preferred.
Ability to manage inventory control and assist with menu planning.
Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising kitchen staff.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Culinary degree or relevant certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
