Overview

We are a family owned and operated business looking for a hard working and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership. Your enthusiasm for the food industry and commitment to hospitality will drive the success of our family business, creating memorable experiences for guests and fostering a positive work environment for staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader eager to make a significant impact in a restaurant with a growing reputation within the greater Syracuse area. Candidates with managerial experience in Asian cuisine are strongly encouraged to apply.

Duties

Lead daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and inventory management.
Manage our POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Supervise staff training, development, and performance management to build a cohesive and motivated team.
Handle cash management duties including cash handling, shift reporting, and reconciliation.
Coordinate staffing schedules, shift management, and supervising team members to maintain optimal service levels.
Conduct hiring interviews, manage onboarding processes, and implement training programs for new employees.
Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
Oversee inventory control, food safety management, and food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest feedback promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with a strong background in food service management.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team leadership skills in hospitality or restaurant settings
Familiarity with POS systems
Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic math skills for order calculations, inventory tracking, and financial reporting are required.
Knowledge of food safety protocols and procedures
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service combined with leadership qualities that inspire staff members.
