Payroll Benefits Coordinator

Lakeshore Manor Nursing & Rehab

Salary: $41,600–$43,680 per year

Make an Impact Behind the Scenes

Lakeshore Manor Nursing & Rehab is looking for a Payroll Benefits Coordinator (PBC) to join our team and serve as a trusted resource for our employees.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping people. You'll play an important role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, new hires have a smooth onboarding experience, and employees receive the support they need with payroll and benefits questions.

What You'll Do

Payroll & Timekeeping

Review daily timecards and correct missed punches, shift changes, overtime, and other discrepancies.
Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure accurate hours, rates, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll information.
Process personnel actions, including new hires, terminations, pay-rate changes, and other employee updates.
Coordinate off-cycle payments, manual checks, and Wisely card payments as needed.
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure payroll processes follow company policies and applicable requirements.

Benefits & Employee Support

Serve as the on-site point of contact for employee benefits questions.
Assist new employees with benefit enrollment, waivers, and other required elections.
Help employees navigate ADP for benefits, personal information updates, and leave-related applications.
Monitor and assist with the administrative processing of employee leaves, including FMLA and Workers' Compensation.

New Hire Onboarding

Guide new hires through pre-employment and onboarding requirements.
Coordinate background checks, references, and required employment documentation.
Review onboarding paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
Communicate new hire start dates and orientation information to the appropriate teams.
Order employee name badges and assist with orientation activities as needed.
Help ensure new employees have a smooth transition from offer to their first day.

Additional Administrative Support

Assist with OSHA 300 log management and WOTC tracking.
Reconcile petty cash card transactions.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
Provide general administrative support to the facility's HR operations.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience in payroll, benefits, HR administration, or a related administrative role
Experience with ADP or a similar payroll/timekeeping system strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
Strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine desire to support employees.
