Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Regional Nurse to lead clinical operations across multiple senior living communities. This vital role involves overseeing patient care, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing medical documentation, and providing nursing leadership to support staff and residents alike. The Regional Nurse will champion quality improvement initiatives and uphold the highest standards of health and safety within our communities.

Duties

Provide clinical oversight and management of nursing staff across all assigned communities
Ensure compliance with state healthcare regulations, HIPAA privacy standards, and long-term care facility requirements
Monitor patient care delivery, including assessments, treatments, and medication management
Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and ensure proper documentation of medical procedures
Conduct regular audits of medical documentation and records for accuracy and regulatory compliance
Lead training sessions on medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and regulatory updates for staff development
Collaborate with management to implement quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing resident care outcomes

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, compact license preferred
Extensive experience in Assisted Living or long-term care settings with acute care expertise
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and long-term care laws
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and EMR/EHR management systems
Demonstrated management skills with experience supervising clinical staff and providing administrative oversight
Familiarity with data analysis for quality assurance and compliance reporting
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies
