Job description

Nansemond Lawn and Garden is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to stay focused and prioritize various tasks and responsibilities. The employee will be responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, helping to prepare contracts and estimates, as well as inputting employees’ time, billing, and collections. Candidates will work in tandem with our sales and design team throughout the sales process to ensure that jobs are contracted, tracked, and billed promptly and properly. Other duties may be assigned as the need arises.

Skills Required:

· The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate with potential clients. You will be on the front line of our sales team. The ability to effectively screen and qualify calls is a must. The ideal candidate will be able to ascertain important information regarding the client’s needs, providing our sales team with as much information as possible for their initial consultation.

· The potential team member must be familiar with all basic and specialized office software platforms. Programs such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are a MUST. The ability to navigate Google’s G suite platform (sheets, forms, docs, and calendar) is also required.

· The candidate must be detail oriented and results driven. The ability to multitask and follow company practices and procedures is required.

· Hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
