Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead teams on diverse construction sites, coordinate project schedules, and manage resources effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. As a pivotal member of our team, you will drive project success while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction crews, managing daily operations to meet project goals and deadlines
- Coordinate construction schedules using project management software to ensure timely delivery
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents for accuracy and clarity
- Oversee safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to construction regulations and specifications
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and project progression
- Supervise the review of contracts, change orders, and scope adjustments to mitigate risks and maintain project integrity
- Oversee blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and construction schedule coordination on-site
- Manage teams effectively by providing clear managerial communication, supervising work crews, and fostering a safety-conscious environment
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other industry tools
- Proven track record in managing large-scale commercial or federal construction projects with a focus on safety and quality standards
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, federal construction safety regulations, and construction site safety management practices
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Excellent crew management abilities with supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to coordinate complex construction schedules ensuring seamless project flow
- Proficient in managing contracts, budgeting processes, and construction estimating techniques
- Effective communication skills for managing teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

- Do you have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license to travel daily between job sites in Fairfield County and nearby areas?
