Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Salon Receptionist/Front Desk and Social Media Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our salon while also managing our online presence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine exceptional customer service skills with creative social media management. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organized, and proficient in office management and digital communication, helping us create a vibrant and engaging environment for clients and followers alike. Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, professionally, and courteously, directing calls as needed
Manage appointment scheduling using office management software, maintaining accurate calendar records
Handle all front desk duties including client check-out, payment processing, and filing client information securely
Maintain a clean, organized reception area that reflects the salon’s welcoming atmosphere
Develop engaging content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to promote salon services and specials
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media promptly to foster community engagement
Proofread posts for accuracy and professionalism while ensuring consistent branding across all digital channels
Assist with client communication through email or text reminders, enhancing customer support and retention

Experience

Previous office management or front desk experience in a customer service environment is highly preferred
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in and social media platforms
Experience handling multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting
Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service with friendly professionalism
