Position Overview

The Agency Producer is responsible for generating new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This position offers a performance-driven compensation structure and a clear path for advancement into programs such as Associate Agent, Protege, Business Insurance Agent, or AgencyOwnership.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, and community involvement
Educate clients on coverage options and recommend insurance solutions tailored to their needs
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to support retention and cross-selling opportunities
Follow up on leads, quotes, and renewals in a timely and professional manner
Meet or exceed monthly sales and production goals
Support agency marketing and local outreach efforts
Maintain accurate documentation and client records

Associate Agents focus on prospecting, client relationships,and policy production while gaining hands-on experience in agency operations.This path is ideal for driven sales professionals who want to earn through performance and potentially position themselves for future agency ownership.

Protege Program

The Protege Program is a development track for individuals who aspire to own their own Farmers agency. Proteges work directly under a successful Farmers agent, learning the day-to-day operations of running an agency — including sales, marketing, client service, and business management. This program offers real-world training and preparation for agency ownership.

Best for: Entrepreneurial candidates who want guided preparation for agency ownership.
