Tombras, a 600+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking an Associate Copywriter to join our Creative Team.

You’ll be joining one of the top independent agencies in North America. Connecting Data & Creativity for Business Results® is working for our clients and creating a flywheel affect fueling both client and agency growth. You’ll be a part of a highly creative agency that has been recognized by AdAge, Adweek, Communication Arts, Fast Company, Forbes and Fortune. Tombras was recently named 2025 AdAge Agency of the year and 2024 AdAge Independent Agency of the Year.

Where you'll be working: Knoxville, TN or Atlanta, GA. Relocation assistance may be provided.

What you’ll be doing:

Conceive, concept and execute advertising campaign ideas
Develop and write for social media, TV, radio and more
Partner with an art director and designer to execute your idea
Collaborate in a respectful team forward way with other creatives
Can receive and activate on feedback from Creative Directors
Think outside the box

What you bring:

Desire to create award winning advertising with a team of highly motivated creatives
A strong portfolio trumps experience & education nine times out of ten but it is a plus if you have 1-3 years of ad agency experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to write a tight headline, killer body copy, and viral tweets
An attitude of positivity and exploration
You’re a culture junkie who loves a good idea
