Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This energetic position combines clinical support with front desk responsibilities, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a positive patient experience. We value motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to support both clinical and administrative functions within our dental practice.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists with all procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and managing dental supplies efficiently.
Handle patient intake, update medical histories, and review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance verifications, and process claims
Maintain meticulous dental records, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and review documentation for accuracy.
Assist with front desk duties such as filing patient records, scheduling follow-up appointments, and managing office correspondence.
Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, explaining treatment plans, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
Qualifications
Min. 5 year prior dental office experience or clinic experience highly preferred; familiarity with dental terminology is essential.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual abilities are desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
Strong communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette.
Office duties including dental records management, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.
Experience working with dental software such as Open Dental.

Pay: Up to $29.00 per hour
