Bookkeeper/Office Manager — Boston Chauffeur

Peabody, MA | Full-Time, In-Person
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Position Overview

The Bookkeeper/Office Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at our Peabody headquarters, playing a critical role in bookkeeping, human resources support, and office administration. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being the go-to person, and takes pride in creating an efficient, professional, and positive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily office operations and maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
Handle QuickBooks functions including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and expense tracking
Process payroll, employee reimbursements, and assist with financial reporting
Support HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and maintaining employee records
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and building management to ensure operational excellence
Plan and organize internal meetings, company events, and staff communications
Serve as a central point of contact for administrative and HR matters for staff and leadership

Experience & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in office management, administration, or workplace operations (Required)
5+ years of experience with QuickBooks (Required)
Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
Experience supporting HR functions in a small business or service-based environment preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools such as Slack
Experience coordinating meetings, events, and vendor relationships
