Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and team leadership. Your passion for food service and hospitality management will drive the success of the restaurant, fostering a positive environment that promotes teamwork, quality, and profitability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the guest experience while managing day-to-day activities with enthusiasm and precision.

Duties

Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and customer service to ensure high standards are maintained.
Supervise staff training, development, and performance management to cultivate a motivated and skilled team.
Oversee inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Manage shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and optimize workflow for maximum efficiency.
Conduct regular profit and loss analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Implement food production processes aligned with quality standards; oversee catering, banquet, or bar services as needed.
Maintain compliance with food safety management practices and oversee staff training on hygiene protocols.
Lead restaurant initiatives in budgeting, marketing strategies, and community engagement to enhance brand presence.

Skills

Extensive experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments.
Strong culinary knowledge including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management.
Proficiency with POS system clover. adept at cash handling and sales reporting.
Proven supervisory experience with team leadership in hospitality or food industry settings.
Excellent managerial communication skills; capable of interviewing, training, and developing staff effectively.
Deep understanding of food industry standards including inventory control, food handling, and kitchen management.
Skilled in managing hospitality teams with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to analyze profit & loss statements; experience in budgeting and cost control strategies.
Knowledge of catering operations, banquet services, bar management, and event coordination is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle shift management efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
