Mike McGilvary Roofing, Inc. is a family-owned roofing company established in 1974, specializing in tile roof preservation, repairs, and targeted rebuilds designed to extend roof life — not unnecessary replacements.
We are actively looking for a skilled roofing professional to join our repair division long-term. This position is ideal for someone who already has strong hands-on roofing experience and is looking for a company they can grow with professionally over the next several years.
This is not a production roofing environment focused on rushing jobs or unnecessary replacements. We specialize in precision repairs, inspection-grade workmanship, detailed documentation, and high-level customer service throughout Palm Beach County and South Florida.
Our company continues to expand rapidly, and we are looking for the right individual to learn our systems, procedures, and standards, then grow into a Foreman / Crew Leader role running a truck and crew independently.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Roof repair technician working within our established repair division
- Tile roof repairs and targeted rebuilds
- Leak diagnostics and repair procedures
- Underlayment replacement and waterproofing systems
- Repair documentation and photo reporting
- Occasional shingle, flat, and limited metal roof repairs
- Long-term path into leadership and crew management
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of hands-on roofing repair experience
- Experience working on 1–3 story roof systems
- Tile roofing experience strongly preferred
- MUST have a valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and professionalism
- Clean appearance and communication
- High attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Willingness to learn and follow company-specific systems and procedures

PAY & BENEFITS
- $1,000 – $1,400 per week starting pay based on experience, capability, and leadership
