Summary
This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the weekly employee paychecks for plant personnel. This position requires effective daily interaction with Plant Managers and Group Leaders. This position receives day-to-day work direction from the Payroll & Benefits Manager. Assist with special projects as coordinated by the Director of Human Resources, Chief Financial Officer and/or Payroll & Benefits Manager.
Essential Functions

1. Manage the timeliness of the weekly production payroll process.
2. Calculation of incentive pay.
3. Assist the Payroll & Benefits Manager with administrative support, tracking, reporting and special projects related to benefit plans, including:
a. Audits.
b. Enrollments and renewals.
c. Changes/Deletions to elections and coverages.
d. Funding/deductions related to benefit plans.
4. Administrative support of employee attendance programs/systems.
5. Assist with maintenance, organization and control of employee files including utilization of HRIS software.
6. Facilitate onboarding of new hires including:
a. Provide orientation to benefits and other employee elections.
b. I-9 processing.
c. Add new hire information to HRIS and attendance tracking systems.
7. Provide effective customer service to employees as it pertains to all position responsibilities.

Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment. The routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers is required.
The position will occasionally operate within the company manufacturing environment.

This position requires a substantial amount of seated work. Filing of materials is required. This may include the ability to lift files/materials, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
