1st Shift Mold & Fixture Maker
PCI, LLC a manufacturer of custom designed and molded plastic parts in Northern Indiana with a solid reputation in the plastics industry has an opening for a Vacuum Form Mold and Fixture Maker.
Mold and Fixture Maker is responsible for fabrication of composite materials, tooling board, epoxy and ceramic, laminations. Inspecting molds and fixtures to ensure quality and repairing any damage or defects. Experienced and good with pattern shop equipment including, sanders, drills, routers, grinders, milling tools. Additional responsibilities include tooling and fixture repair, troubleshooting of new molds, first article part production.
Ideal Candidate Previous Experience could include cabinetmaker, body shop technician, fiberglass mold maker, RV fixture builder, finish carpenter, or furniture builder.
Essential Job Functions
- Understanding of vacuum form mold and fixture design
- Fixture/mold repair experience
- Ability to operate all hand and air tools
- Ability to read multiple measuring devices, Tape measure, Calipers, Micrometer, etc.
- Preferred working knowledge of Microsoft Office/365
- Ability to read prints & understand CAD data
- Ability to work independently

Requirements
- Work inside without air conditioning
- Able to stand and walk around all day
- Able to reach with hands and arms regularly
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching frequently
Must be able to lift and handle up to 50 pounds of material
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
