Full Job Description

Job Summary

Revive Spine & Joint, a new branch of an out-of-state medical group, is expanding into the Boston area and is looking to hire a full-time Physical Therapist for its Dorchester, MA clinic. The preferred applicant will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in their respective field. The successful candidate should be capable of working independently with minimal supervision and should feel comfortable managing a clinic in the absence of a physician. The practice emphasizes responsible medical management, with a focus on limiting the use of narcotics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate new patients, develop plans of care, and set measurable functional goals.
Work closely with physician and mid-level providers to coordinate care and maximize patient outcomes
Write timely and accurate documentation such as re-evaluation, discharge, and daily progress notes.
Conduct tests and measures to identify problems the patients are facing.
Re-evaluate patient progress and revise plans of care and reset goals as needed.
Develop discharge plans.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment with your team

Education/Experience/Skills/Certifications

The minimum education requirements are outlines below:

Minimum of master’s degree in physical therapy. Three (3) years’ experience in the general practice of physical therapy. Valid physical therapy license to practice physical therapy in the state of Massachusetts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks is preferred but not required.
