This position is part of CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services team, responsible for delivering preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs that keep critical building systems operating safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
Travel to financial institution locations across Northwestern Vermont to perform preventive maintenance and repair services.
Start your workday from home and dispatch directly to assigned service sites in a company-provided van.
Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical/HVAC, plumbing, structural, life safety, industrial, and building control systems to ensure facilities remain safe, efficient, and compliant with applicable standards.
Diagnose equipment and system issues and perform corrective maintenance as needed.
Utilize company-provided tools, laptop, and mobile technology to document work, manage service requests, and communicate with customers and team members.
Maintain a professional customer-focused presence while supporting multiple client locations throughout the territory.
Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed to complete the repair and maintain inventory of adequate supplies and tools.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.
Review inspections of building and industrial systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
Oversee compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Not-Bonus Eligible: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is or $35.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $40.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
