Full Job Description

Franke at Seaside is seeking experienced, resident focused servers willing to provide excellent customer service to provide a pleasant, efficient meal service for Independent Living Residents that make Franke at Seaside their home.

Summary

As a Dietary Server/Wait Staff, you will be joining a team that consistently delivers high-quality food service within our Culinary Department, ensuring that residents receive nutritious meals tailored to their needs. Your role involves food preparation, serving, and maintaining food safety standards. Your core skills in customer service and food handling will enhance the dining experience for our residents, while your premium experience in healthcare or independent living settings will be invaluable. Join us in promoting health and well-being through exceptional meal service in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained during food handling and service.
Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring dining needs are met.
Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any concerns or special requests.
Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a clean and organized dining environment.
Support the culinary department in inventory management and food production tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in food preparation and service within a culinary department
Strong customer service skills and culinary service experience
Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
Familiarity with independent living, healthcare or hospital environments
Time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Basic cooking and sanitation knowledge, with experience in meal preparation and cleaning duties
