Job Overview:
We are seeking a Juicer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and juicing fresh cold-pressed juices on a large commercial juicer in a fast-paced environment. Each juicing shift ranges from 7-9+ hours.
*This is a labor intensive job with heavy lifting.
Duties:
- Operate juicing equipment to extract fresh juice from fruits and vegetables
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and answering inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the juicing station
- Create a quality product in a timely fashion Maintain consistency while following recipes
- Able to pay close attention to detail while following recipes, bottling juices, and dating juices for expiration
- Able to follow food prep procedures according to Kuka Juice standards
- Maintain a clean work environment Abide by all health code requirements
- Adhere to health department codes regarding food sanitation and handling
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. *This position is labor-intensive.
- Be able to maneuver heavy machinery without supervision
- Train on other stations to help when needed
- Learn POS system and maintain quality customer service
Skills:
- Kitchen Experience Preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing transactions
- Knowledge of food handling practices in the food industry
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate effective time management
