Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

The ideal candidate is a highly organized litigation professional who takes ownership of their work, communicates with warmth and professionalism, and can confidently manage a busy caseload with competing deadlines. Guest & Brady embraces technology that helps our team work more effectively and serve clients better. The right candidate will be comfortable learning new systems and responsibly using approved AI-enabled tools to enhance legal research, document drafting, and case-management efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Open, organize, and maintain files for new and existing clients
Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients regarding case progress, scheduling, and document requests
Manage case deadlines, calendars, and litigation-related appointments
Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings for attorney review
File documents in state and federal courts using applicable electronic filing systems
Draft discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas
Coordinate and schedule depositions, including preparing notices and organizing exhibits
Prepare medical-record summaries and detailed medical chronologies
Organize case materials and assist attorneys with trial and hearing preparation
Perform administrative duties, including filing, scanning, copying, mailing, and scheduling
Use approved technology and AI-enabled tools responsibly to support legal research, document drafting, and case-management workflows
Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all firm policies concerning client information and technology use

Qualifications

At least two years of professional experience as a litigation paralegal
Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred
Experience with state and federal court procedures and electronic filing systems
Ability to manage a large caseload while meeting multiple deadlines
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional, responsive, and compassionate approach to client communication
Strong general technology skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Willingness to adopt evolving workflows, including approved AI-enabled applications
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience preparing medical summaries and chronologies
Familiarity with personal injury discovery and deposition preparation
Experience assisting with hearings, mediations, or trial preparation
