The Salesforce Administrator II will provide support to the organization through the customization and configuration of our Salesforce platform. The administrator will work closely with business leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes including: sales, supplier services, finance, and customer service teams. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform, as well as being assigned to larger projects that have company-wide visibility.
Responsibilities
- Serve as one of four system administrators for a multi-org Salesforce environment
- Work across the different clouds of the Salesforce platform, including Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud, as well as supporting custom applications.
- Interface with team members, business leaders, and other stakeholders to gather, understand, and translate requirements for various projects and initiatives.
- Plan and execute data improvement projects including data normalization, de-duping, and general clean up within Salesforce and integrated applications.
- Handle basic administrative functions including user management, feature and record access requests, workflows, and other routine tasks.
- Complete regular internal system and user audits and prepare for the latest Salesforce releases.
- Manage, configure, and support ongoing maintenance of integrations with other systems and microservices.
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
- Participating in our SDLC with our team of Salesforce developers and QA to design, test, and implement new features on Salesforce.
- Act as the liaison between our IT organization, internal business stakeholders, and end users.
- Manage production releases of development and configuration changes.
Skills Required:
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
- Ability to quickly learn new Salesforce features to support the many clouds ScanSource uses across its orgs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels within the organization as well as collaborate with business partners and technical teams.
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and convert it into requirements, general guidelines, or see the underlying tree needs behind the request.
- Ability to evaluate information and solution problems without over-dependence on AI.
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements in our Salesforce org and upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
Experience Required:
- Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce administrator.
- Salesforce Platform Admin and Salesforce Platform App Builder certified.
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Agentforce certifications encouraged but not required.
- Ability to be a SME in a core area, such as cybersecurity, sales, or integrations.
- Experience with release management, including deploying managed and unmanaged code.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including permissioning, record and object access, and UI configuration.
- Strong understanding of declarative development and a basic understanding of iterative development.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate complex requirements.
- Proven ability to design and implement new solutions and facilitate user adoption.
Compensation:
Compensation Range: $75,000-$85,000
Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
