Full Job Description

Overview

It’s been said, “Sales is what happens on the way”. Very few seek out a career in Sales, but once they realize they’ve been climbing the wrong ladder, they wish they’d started in Sales sooner. We’re looking for our next Marketing Sales professional for our three Mobridge radio stations.

As the primary "go-to" Marketing Sales representative for DRG Media, you'll become a vital driver of business growth in Mobridge and the surrounding communities. In this energetic role, you will leverage your sales expertise and marketing knowledge to build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and close impactful "win-win" business with local advertisers. Your enthusiasm and strategic approach will help expand our presence and spread the kind of positive, goodwill DRG is known for in the communities we serve. This position has the potential to be extremely lucrative for the right person. All while working flexible, weekday hours- NO weekends or late nights. You'll have the opportunity to develop your selling skills while managing accounts AND providing custom, creative ideas and solutions that contribute to your client's success.

Duties

Engage with prospective clients through warm calling, networking, and targeted outreach to generate new leads and expand the customer base
Develop tailored strategies that align with client needs, to secure mutually beneficial agreements
Manage existing customer accounts by providing ongoing support, fostering long-term relationships
Present compelling creative solutions to clients in a clear, professional manner
Implement campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive sales growth
Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to track interactions, manage pipelines, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
Close deals efficiently by creating "win-wins" while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction

Requirements

Strong verbal, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to identify and articulate client needs and solutions.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Previous selling and managing experience is desirable, but not required.
Excellent analysis skills for assessing client needs and developing strategic solutions
A proactive approach with the ability to perform warm calling and outreach confidently
