About Virtuoso Conservatory
Virtuoso Conservatory is seeking a premier Piano Instructor who is passionate about developing young musicians through disciplined, inspiring, and high-level musical training.
We are looking for an exceptional pianist and educator who wants to become part of a growing conservatory and build long-term relationships with students.
Our teachers don’t simply give piano lessons — they follow a structured educational system designed to develop technique, musicianship, confidence, and strong performance skills.
Responsibilities
The Piano Instructor will provide private piano instruction while following the Virtuoso Conservatory curriculum and syllabus, including:
- Major and minor scales Chords, inversions, and arpeggios Proper piano technique and hand development Sight-reading Music theory Ear training Classical repertoire Contemporary repertoire when appropriate Performance and recital preparation Progressive musical evaluations
Teachers are expected to follow the Conservatory’s established curriculum while also encouraged to use independent teaching method. Having a hybrid approach.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a serious, professional pianist and educator who:
- Has advanced proficiency in piano Has a strong classical music background Has excellent knowledge of scales, chords, arpeggios, technique, and classical repertoire Can effectively teach children and teenagers Is comfortable following a structured syllabus Understands the importance of sight-reading and music theory Is punctual, reliable, professional, energetic, and encouraging Can prepare students for recitals and evaluations Is interested in developing students over multiple years
5+ years of piano teaching experience is preferred.
A degree in music, conservatory training, ABRSM/RCM experience, classical training, or advanced piano performance experience is highly valued.
Two-Year Commitment
Teacher retention is extremely important to Virtuoso Conservatory.
Students develop strong relationships with their instructors, and consistency is essential to their musical development. Candidates should therefore be prepared to make a two-year professional commitment to the Conservatory.

Compensation
$38 per teaching hour
Qualified instructors will also be eligible for a $300 bonus after successfully completing the required introductory period and meeting performance and commitment expectations.
