Role Overview
As a Tax Manager, you will be a key player in managing a variety of complex tax engagements, helping to drive strategic decisions, and providing top-tier service to clients. You’ll work on intricate partnership taxation and high-net-worth individuals, providing mentorship to junior staff and offering tax consulting that makes a tangible difference.

What You’ll Do

Review and prepare complex federal and state tax returns, focusing on partnership taxation.
Provide expert advice on tax strategies, tax planning, and compliance issues to help clients achieve their goals.
Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and create actionable recommendations.
Represent clients in interactions with the IRS and other tax authorities.
Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, offering proactive guidance and business insights.
Mentor and support the growth of junior staff members, fostering their professional development.
Contribute to the firm’s business development efforts and marketing initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table

CPA license (required).
At least 7 years of recent public accounting experience (experience in small to mid-sized firms preferred).
Deep technical expertise in partnership taxation and high-net-worth individuals.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in QuickBooks (experience with CCH ProSystem is a plus).
Experience with international tax issues is a plus, but not required.
