JOB TITLE: Bad-Ass Scheduling Coordinator/Insurance Specialist

EMPLOYER: Nurture Family Dental

REPORTS TO: Admin Lead

EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediate

SUMMARY: The purpose of the Dental Patient coordinator is to provide superior customer service and act as a liaison for the patient and their insurance benefits. His or her's priority will be creating and maintaining a Category of One level of service to our patients and fellow team members, focused on serving others while establishing trusting, caring relationships.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Acquiring necessary dental records and documents via telephone, email, fax and all other forms of communication with other office locations/personnel.
Submitting insurance forms to insurance companies as required.
Answering multi-line telephone system
Scheduling patients for appointments and re-call appointments in an efficient and productive manner.
Providing outstanding customer service, maintaining positive relationships, and acting as a resource for everything related to office operations.
Presenting treatment plans with financial investment to patients
Encourage patient referrals.
Maintaining accounts receivable records and placing necessary collection calls to patients and insurance companies.
Receiving payments from patients for services rendered and preparing bank deposits daily.
All other duties as assigned.

Candidates must have prior dental experience.
