Action Tool & Machine is currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe programmer and operator with a great attitude and strong work ethic to join our team. Our ideal candidate is an experienced self-motivated individual. This is a 1st shift position working 40-50 hours a week. Qualified candidates will be responsible for:
- Programming, set up, manufacturing and verifying parts to blueprint specifications.
- Utilizing manual G-Code and Mastercam software.
- Maintaining equipment.
- Ensuring quality standards by following quality assurance procedures.
- Accomplishing organization goals by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to the team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a machinist or in a manufacturing environment
- The ability to read blueprints or job orders and make minor adjustments as needed to fulfill requirements
- The ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
