Full Job Description

Responsibilities:

The Data Specialist for the Clinical Project Department is responsible for assessing, planning, and assisting with the execution of projects. The Data Coordinator will work with the Manager on executing changes and/or updates to the project tasks. This individual will perform confidential functions relating to error resolution and performance measure reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

Understand data requirements to facilitate audit of all applicable government reporting systems.
Understand and complete necessary data entry in all applicable government reporting systems.
Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Provide support to Project Manager for technical and application queries.
Educate facility staff in auditing of EMR demographic charting, ESRD Quality Reporting System (EQRS) - National Healthcare and Safety Network (NHSN) reporting systems.
Educate facility staff in tasking and data entry in EQRS and NHSN.
Attend all staff meetings and in-services as it pertains to job.
Maintains confidentiality of all information in clinical records and complies with HIPAA guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: USD $22.00 - USD $27.00 /Hr. Company (Career Site Brand): U.S. Renal Care
