Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated General Manager to lead our restaurant operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant functions, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and drive profitability. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of restaurant management, including staffing, training, and team development to foster a motivated and cohesive workforce.
Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and quality standards.
Manage inventory control, ordering, and stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize food costs and minimize waste.
Supervise shift operations, including cash handling, customer service excellence, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, customer service skills, and safety procedures to enhance team performance.
Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction strategies.
Maintain a positive dining environment by ensuring cleanliness, safety standards, and exceptional hospitality at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in full-service restaurant
Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams within casual dining or fine dining environments.
Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast; experience with cash handling and inventory control is essential.
Strong understanding of food safety management practices and health regulations.
Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork.
Experience in managing hospitality teams with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to analyze financial data including profit & loss statements; budgeting experience is preferred.
Prior experience in catering, banquet services, or hotel food operations is a plus.
