About Us

East End Social Media is a boutique social media agency specializing in digital marketing for luxury real estate professionals and lifestyle brands throughout New York City, Long Island, The Hamptons, Westchester, and beyond.

We help our clients build meaningful online brands through strategic content, social media management, and creative storytelling. As our client roster continues to grow, we're looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Junior Social Media Manager to join our team.

Position Overview

The Junior Social Media Manager will assist with managing client social media accounts by creating engaging content, editing short-form video, writing captions, researching trends, and supporting overall content strategy.

This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in social media marketing while working with a collaborative, fast-paced agency. While the position is primarily remote, it is hybrid, and candidates must be based in New York City, Long Island, or the Hamptons with the ability to travel occasionally for client shoots, meetings, and events.

Responsibilities

Create graphics and social media assets using Canva.
Edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels and other social platforms.
Write engaging captions tailored to each client's unique brand voice.
Research social media trends, trending audio, hashtags, and emerging content ideas.
Assist with planning and organizing monthly content calendars.
Schedule and publish content across multiple social media platforms.
Compile monthly analytics reports and performance summaries.
Organize digital assets and maintain content libraries.
Collaborate with team members on content strategy and creative ideas.
Attend occasional content shoots, client meetings, networking events, and property tours.

Ideal Candidate

Has at least 2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
Has completed an Associate's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred).
Is passionate about social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
Understands Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and short-form video content.
Has experience designing graphics and editing video content.
Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
Is proactive, dependable, and enjoys collaborating within a small team.
Stays current with social media trends and enjoys learning new tools and technologies.
Has an interest in luxury real estate and lifestyle brands.

Requirements

Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Experience using Canva and CapCut (or similar editing software).
Familiarity with Google Workspace and Dropbox.
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, or similar platforms, or a willingness to learn and incorporate emerging AI technologies into daily workflows.
Strong writing, communication, and proofreading skills.
Based in New York City, Long Island, or the Hamptons with reliable transportation for occasional travel.

Compensation

$25-$30 per hour, based on experience.
15-20 hours per week to start.
Flexible schedule.
