Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team for our first shift 6:45am - 3:15pm . In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical and mechanical components into finished products, ensuring each unit meets quality standards and specifications. Your expertise in electronics assembly, schematic reading, and mechanical assembly will contribute to the production of high-quality electro-mechanical devices. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills will directly impact the delivery of reliable products to our customers.

Responsibilities

Assemble electrical components, including PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assemblies, using hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology techniques.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately follow assembly instructions.
Build electrical panels and wiring harnesses in accordance with schematics and blueprint specifications.
Use precision measurement tools such as calipers and ohmmeters to verify component placement and electrical continuity.
Solder surface mount devices (SMD) and through-hole components while adhering to IPC 610 standards for quality assurance.
Conduct mechanical assembly tasks, including machining, fitting parts, and verifying mechanical integrity with calipers or other measuring devices.
Troubleshoot electro-mechanical components and assemblies by applying engineering troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience in electronics assembly, electrical wiring, or mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics documentation.
Familiarity with PCB assembly processes, surface mount technology (SMT), and soldering techniques following IPC 610 standards.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement instruments.
Knowledge of electrical panel building, wiring practices, and electro-mechanical component integration.
Ability to follow detailed blueprint specifications accurately while maintaining high-quality standards.
Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes or mechanical component fitting is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills for engineering troubleshooting tasks.
